*There will be a tuition adjustment effective September 2026. Learn more here.

Candidates in Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, and  British Columbia (effective September 2026) may be eligible for a tuition subsidy from their law society. CPLED requires direct confirmation of eligibility before a subsidy can be issued. Your registration details will be shared with your law society for verification once you register.

For subsidy criteria, contact your law society directly:

How subsidies work: Students or firms pay the full tuition to CPLED. The law society then issues the subsidy directly to the payor.

Payment Methods

All tuition payments must be made payable to The Canadian Centre for Professional Legal Education (CPLED). You may pay by online bill payment, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), or wire transfer*. CPLED is registered as an approved payee with all major Canadian banks, making online bill payment a convenient option.

PREP payments can be made in full or by individual phases in installments of $1,525 plus applicable taxes. If you require a specialized payment plan, contact admin@cpled.ca.

*Please note that CPLED does not accept cheques, credit cards, or e-transfers.

Payment

Processing

Access to PREP materials will only be granted once payment has been processed, so it’s important to submit your payment on time and include accurate candidate details such as your name and student number.

Once you have made a payment, allow for processing time. It may take up to seven business days for online payments to be processed.
