Admission Requirements
To register for the LRW course, you must provide proof of an Assessment Report from the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) issued by the Federation of Law Societies of Canada. Students without an NCA Assessment Report cannot be guaranteed admission as registration is subject to capacity limits. If an intake is full, you may request to join the waitlist by emailing LRW@cpled.ca.
To complete the course, students must have:
- A reliable internet connection and access to Chrome or Firefox for the D2L platform
- Strong English language proficiency for advanced legal writing and research tasks
- Prior legal education or experience, as this is not an introductory course
For accommodation requests, submit your application by the indicated deadline on the Program Schedule page. For questions about whether you need to complete LRW, contact the NCA directly.
